Bariloche
Bariloche is nested along the eastern slopes of the Andes in the northern Patagonia region of Argentina. The alpine style town contains many boutiques, shops, pubs, restaurants, discos and hotels. The actual ski area is called Catedral Alta Patagonia which is located 12 miles from town. The snow sport season generally runs from mid-June to mid-October. The terrain ranges from all levels of ability plus experts have access to backcountry chutes, bowls and tree-skiing. Other activities include Nordic skiing, off-piste skiing, sledding, paragliding, hiking and mountain biking.
