Okemo Mountain Resort

Okemo Mountain located near Ludlow offers southern Vermont's highest vertical at 2,200 ft. Trail difficulty is almost evenly divided between novice, intermediate, and advanced/expert. There are four main areas at Okemo, each with at least one high speed detachable quad. Okemo has a total of 8 terrain parks with a focus on terrain park progression and is home to the east's longest superpipe. There's lots to do for everyone at this resort. Not a skier or snowboarder or just want to see the mountain from different perspective? Then take a guided mountain tour inside a specially-designed snowcat right to the summit. Okemo Valley Nordic Center has a well-marked trail system covering 22km of Nordic tracked and skate-groomed terrain plus another13 km of trails dedicated to snowshoers. The multi-lane slopeside tubing park is located in Jackson Gore and makes a perfect apres ski activity. For an even bigger thrill The Timber Ripper is a roller-coaster style attraction that offers a scenic and exhilarating ride through alpine forests and along the contours of the mountain at Okemo's Jackson Gore. Winter guests can also enjoy skating in the regulation-sized hockey arena. Polaris snowmobiles let the kids enjoy a guided tour on a real kid-sized snowmobile! Okemo offers a huge variety of on-mountain dining options from a full-service restaurant to coffee shops and outdoor barbeques. There are several options for lodging right at the mountain.
