Camelback located in Tannersville is among the largest ski resorts in the state and is accessible from New York City and northern New Jersey. Jack Frost and Big Boulder combine to be the big two-for-one resorts with Big Boulder focusing on snowboarders.

Blue Mountain Resort is a popular four season destination located near Palmerton, Pennsylvania in the northern part of the Lehigh Valley. The mountain has the state's highest vertical, long runs, glade trails along with a mix of terrain over 39 slopes. It has something for every level of skier and snowboarder. The entire mountain is equipped with high efficiency snow guns for 100% coverage to boost natural snow. Blue Mountain Resort is home to 6 Terrain Parks that accommodate every skill level. For even more fun Blue Mountain has 39 lanes of snow tubing with family-sized tubes for flying down the slopes together. The resort offers a collection of dining spots on the mountain from a slopeside pub & grill to a waffle cabin. There are several options for lodging nearby.

Camelback Ski Resort located in Tannersville is among the largest ski resorts in Pennsylvania. It is one of the best known skiing areas in Pennsylvania as a result of its visibility and accessibility from New York City and northern New Jersey. It is also one of the only ski resorts in the state to offer year-round family activities. The mountain has 34 slopes with the longest being Nile Mile. Trails are diverse enough to keep all skill levels happy. All 34 trails are lit for night skiing and 100% snowmaking coverage keeps them open and ready for fun on the slopes. Camelback has the biggest snowtubing park in the USA with 42 lanes to slide down in single or double tubes. For a true thrill the resort has the only mountain coaster in Pennsylvania where you can experience racing down the hill through trees and steeps like never before. The Neon Terrain Park is unique for it's artwork. Professional graffiti artists have custom painted many of the features to reflect the culture of freestyle skiing and boarding. The Sunbowl Progression Park is geared to learning skills by hitting boxes and rails that are only inches from the ground. There are several dining options throughout the resort from a quick snack to a sit down meal. The SummitLodge Restaurant is perched for amazing views of the Pocono Mountains. Jack Frost and Big Boulder combine to be the big two-for-one resorts in the Poconos, near Blakeslee, Pennsylvania. Big Boulder ski area has fifteen different slopes and is considered to have more of a focus for snowboarders, particularly due to its Terrain Parks which cover 50% of the slopes. Big Boulder Lodge offers an outdoor grill, a bar and live musical entertainment. Jack Frost Mountain has twenty-one different slopes of differing difficulty levels and also has 2 terrain parks. Snow tubingis serviced by either a tow rope or conveyor carpet. JFBB resort has two lodges wherein you can sit by the fireplace, enjoy a meal and get WiFi service all with great views of the slopes.

There isn't lodging at the mountain but they are partnered with area accommodations.

Seven Springs Mountain Resort is located approximately one hour southeast of Pittsburgh. Ski or snowboard over 285 acres of developed terrain. The mountain has 33 slopes and trails and seven terrain parks. The terrain parks are of varying difficulty with more than 100 features. This mega-resort also boasts a large base lodge hotel, numerous game rooms and arcades, restaurants, bars, lounges, an indoor pool, a shopping gallery, even a bowling alley. The tubing park has 11 slopes to slide. Discover the area on horseback or a horse-drawn sleigh or take a snowmobile tour.

Elk Mountain Ski Resort is set in the Endless Mountains, 30 miles north of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Elk Mountain history dates back to 1959, when it became one of Pennsylvania's first commercial ski areas. The slopes offer some of the most challenging terrain in the region with distinctive character of surrounding evergreens and has the highest lift-serviced peak in eastern Pennsylvania. Since the 80's over 13,000 trees have been planted. Along with the usual ski and board rentals Elk offers adaptive rental equipment. The hill has 2 terrain parks. The base lodge features a restaurant, guest services and ski & board retail shop. A variety of lodging from B&B to hotels can be found nearby as well as dining options.

Blue Knob is situated on the second highest mountain in Pennsylvania. The resort is located in the south-central part of the state between Altoona and Johnstown about 2 hours from Washington D.C., Baltimore and Pittsburgh. With long runs, glades, narrow chutes and pitches it's earned the reputation for being an advanced skier's mountain but there are trails for all abilities. The Playground Terrain Park is located at the top of High Hopes and features a selection of jumps and jibs on a nice pitch. Blue Knob also offers night skiing and snow tubing. For the cross country skiing enthusiasts there are 10km of gently rolling open and wood trails. Stay and ski condo are located at the base of the resort in theAlpine Village.

Whitetail Resort is a four season resort located on Two Top Mountain in the Tuscarora Mountains of southern Pennsylvania about 2 hours from Washington, DC. Whitetail Resort's trail system was specifically designed to separate skiers of different skiing abilities. There is a modern base lodge which offers free ski check. The resort operates a snow tubing park alongside the ski hill. Whitetail is developing a residential village near the beginner ski slope.
