California's original ski area, Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area (previously known as Badger Pass), is a full-service ski resort offering ski and snowboard instruction, rental equipment, a ski shop, childcare, and a cafeteria and lounge. 85 percent of the slopes are devoted to beginner and intermediate levels. Guided backcountry ski tours through Yosemite are available.
