Open/Reopening Ski Resorts

Currently open ski resorts as well as those that are reopening on the weekend for resorts across the US, Canada, South America and the Australias. There are currently 7 resorts open and 2 reopening.

US West   (6% open)
US Mid West   (0% open)
    All ski resorts in Mid West US are closed for the season. Resorts in the Mid West usually open early to mid November although it is not uncommon for a few to open in late October. Early season openers typically include Trollhaugen, Wisconsin, Wild Mountain, Minnesota and Ski Brule, Michigan.
US East   (0% open)

    Plan to reopen on Friday May 17 (tomorrow)
US Mid Atlantic   (0% open)
    All ski resorts in Mid Atlantic are closed for the season. Resorts in the Mid Atlantic usually open late November to early December. Early season openers typically include Blue Mountain (PA), Seven Spring (PA), Shawnee Mountain (PA), and Sugar Mountain (NC).
Canada West   (6% open)
Canada East   (2% open)
    All ski resorts in Eastern Canada are closed for the season. Resorts in Eastern Canada typically open late November or early to mid December. Saint-Sauveur is usally the first to open in Quebec followed by Mont Tremblant. In Ontario Mount St. Louis Moonstone, Hidden Valley Highlands, and Horseshoe Valley are usually first to open.
Southern Hemisphere   (0% open)
    All ski resorts in South America and the Australias are closed for the season. The South American ski season starts mid June and runs through to October. The Australias season runs early June through the end of September.
