There are four small ski areas in Iowa. Sundown Mountain is the largest with 475ft vertical serviced by 6 lifts. It is located in Dubuque. The skiable vertical of the highest lift is greater than resorts in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota up to Duluth, and all but two in Wisconsin.
